In 2013, my life changed in a way I never expected. I got sick, not the kind of sick where you rest for a week and move on, but the kind that quietly takes over your life while you’re still trying to keep everything going. I had already left a career in private banking to stay home with my three children, and suddenly that season of life was consumed by years of searching for answers while trying to function normally through a mystery illness. When I was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease, I felt relief in finally knowing what I was facing, but also grief for all the time I had lost.

That experience became the push I needed to pursue what I had always loved: design. I went back to school, earned my certification, and launched my namesake studio.

The perspective I gained during those years is woven into every project I take on. I believe deeply that homes are for living. Not for impressing people, and not just for looking beautiful in photographs, but for the real life that happens inside them every day. The dinners, the slow mornings, the chaos, the routines, and the moments when you finally exhale at the end of a long day. To me, great design is not just about beauty. It is about creating spaces that feel functional, calming, welcoming, and deeply personal so that life at home feels easier and more like you.

It is such an honor to help families create homes where they can relax, gather, and focus on what matters most.

When I’m not designing, I’m usually with my family, my husband Chris, our three kids, and Nala, our sweet Lab, with a cup of coffee nearby and music on in the background.
